Inca Jones

Inca Jones is a multidisciplinary artist whose innovative work spans across painting, digital media, and immersive installations. Born in 1987 and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Jones draws deep inspiration from the landscapes of the American Southwest, as well as their own Peruvian heritage. After earning a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Jones embarked on a career marked by bold color palettes, abstract forms, and a fusion of indigenous motifs with contemporary visual language.

Their art explores themes of identity, memory, and the interconnectedness of natural and urban environments, inviting viewers to reflect on personal and collective histories. Inca Jones has exhibited nationally and internationally, with solo shows in Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Berlin. Their work is part of several major public and private collections, and they have been the recipient of multiple art residencies, including at the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture.

Through both solo projects and collaborative ventures, Jones continues to challenge boundaries and expand narratives within the contemporary art world.
