Frida Darko

Berlin-based DJ and producer Frida Darko has steadily carved out a distinctive place in the electronic music landscape with her hypnotic soundscapes and genre-blurring sets. Born in Stockholm and drawn to music from a young age, she began by curating underground club nights in her hometown before relocating to Berlin in 2017. Her sets blend elements of techno, left-field electro, and ambient textures, building journeys that are as cerebral as they are dancefloor-focused.

Over the years, Frida has graced the decks at iconic clubs like Berghain, ://about blank, and Tresor, and festivals including Melt! and Sonar. As a producer, her releases on labels such as Lobster Theremin, Ostgut Ton, and her own imprint Shadow Syntax have earned critical acclaim for their evocative atmospheres and rhythmic sophistication.
