Coco Coquelicot

Coco Coquelicot is a contemporary multidisciplinary artist based in the Netherlands, known for her vibrant visual language that fuses surrealist undertones with the everyday simplicity of Dutch life. Drawing inspiration from the contrasting landscapes of urban Rotterdam and the serene Dutch countryside where she spent her early years, Coco’s work traverses painting, digital collage, and installation. Utilizing unexpected color palettes and whimsical, organic forms, her art explores themes of belonging, nostalgia, and transformation.

She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and has exhibited her art in galleries across Europe, including solo and group shows in Amsterdam, Berlin, and Paris. Driven by a curiosity for the nuances of memory, environmental change, and the intersection of nature with urbanity, Coco Coquelicot continues to engage audiences with immersive artworks that invite reflection and playful interaction.
