Chymera

Chymera, born Brendan Gregoriy, is an acclaimed Irish electronic music producer and DJ known for his emotive, melodic take on techno, house, and electronica. Emerging from Cork, Ireland, Chymera began producing music in the early 2000s, quickly gaining attention for his intricate production style and distinctive sound. His breakout track "Midnight at the Aquarium" (2007) on Ovum Recordings established him as a global contender, leading to subsequent releases on influential labels such as Kompakt, Cocoon, Delsin, and NRK.

Chymera's sound bridges the gap between lush, melodic techno and atmospheric house, characterized by complex harmonies, evocative synths, and dynamic grooves. His music often blends elements of Detroit techno, deep house, and ambient electronica, resulting in tracks that are as suited for introspective listening as they are for the dancefloor.
