AVALON

AVALON is a multidisciplinary artist duo known for their immersive approach to contemporary art, blending digital technology, sound, and tactile materials to create transformative experiences. Formed in 2017 by creative partners Alex Choi and Dana Rivera, AVALON’s collaborative practice emerges from a fusion of their backgrounds in visual art, architecture, and interactive design. Their work interrogates notions of memory, utopia, and the liminal spaces between reality and imagination, frequently employing large-scale installations, experiential environments, and participatory performances.

AVALON’s projects have been exhibited internationally, including at the Museum of Art and Design in New York, the Seoul Arts Center, and the Berlin Art Week, and have garnered recognition for their ability to engage audiences in dynamic dialogue. Drawing inspiration from speculative fiction, mythology, and emerging technologies, AVALON continues to explore the boundaries of art as a vehicle for communal reflection and sensory discovery, positioning their practice at the intersection of fantasy and critical inquiry.
