Vladislav Delay is the primary recording alias of Finnish electronic musician Sasu Ripatti, a prolific and boundary-pushing artist born in Oulu, Finland, in 1976. Over a multi-decade career, Ripatti has become renowned for his innovative explorations in ambient, minimal techno, and experimental electronic music, blending intricate rhythms with atmospheric textures. Often drawing from the stark beauty of his native Finland, Delay’s works evoke both sonic and emotional landscapes.
