Lenxi

Lenxi is a multidisciplinary artist whose evocative work spans painting, sculpture, and installation, drawing inspiration from the liminal spaces between memory, identity, and transformation. Born in Manila and now based in Berlin, Lenxi weaves together elements from their Filipino heritage with contemporary European influences, resulting in a body of work characterized by its vibrant palettes, tactile surfaces, and haunting, dreamlike imagery. Since receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Philippines, Lenxi has exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Art Fair and group shows across Asia and Europe.

Their practice often incorporates found materials and organic forms, reflecting an interest in processes of decay, renewal, and the porous boundaries between the natural and the constructed. Passionate about social justice, Lenxi also collaborates with community organizations to create public art projects addressing migration and diaspora. Through their art, Lenxi seeks to invite viewers into spaces of contemplation, challenging perceptions of cultural hybridity while celebrating resilience and the beauty of change.
