Jasmín

Jasmín is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans painting, installation, and performance, rooted in themes of memory, identity, and transformation. Born and raised in Mexico City, Jasmín draws inspiration from the vibrant colors, urban textures, and layered histories of her homeland, deftly weaving personal narratives and cultural motifs into her practice. Since receiving her BFA from the National School of Fine Arts in 2012, Jasmín has exhibited widely throughout Latin America and Europe, earning recognition for her evocative visual language and deeply immersive environments.

Her work invites viewers into spaces both intimate and communal, often incorporating found objects and natural materials to explore the interplay between nature and the constructed world. Jasmín’s recent projects reflect her commitment to social engagement, collaborating with local communities to address themes of displacement and resilience. As she continues to experiment with new media and forms, Jasmín remains dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices and fostering dialogues that cross borders and disciplines.
