JAMIE & Lucas Bergen

Jamie & Lucas Bergen are a sibling artistic duo whose collaborative work explores the boundaries between memory, identity, and environment. Raised in the Pacific Northwest, their creative journey is deeply informed by the region’s landscapes and cultural textures. With backgrounds in both fine art and architecture, Jamie & Lucas intertwine intricate mixed media installations and evocative paintings, often integrating found materials sourced from their family’s generational home.

Over the past decade, their exhibitions have been featured in contemporary galleries from Portland to Berlin, earning them acclaim for their emotionally immersive storytelling and experimental approach to form and space. Their practice is rooted in the desire to spark intimate dialogue about the relationship between people and place, drawing inspiration from personal narratives, local histories, and the world’s shifting ecological realities. Jamie & Lucas currently split their time between Seattle and rural Oregon, continuously expanding their practice through site-specific commissions and community-led workshops.
