Duke Slammer is the alter ego of Sunderland, UK-based producer and DJ, Ross Wakefield. Famed for his dazzling live hardware sets and boundless explorations into electro, funk, and braindance, Duke Slammer’s sonic palette fuses squelchy synths, driving drum machines, and elastic basslines, conjuring nostalgia for early ‘90s rave culture while pushing the genre into new realms. Since his debut in 2011, he has released a prolific stream of EPs, albums, and remixes across underground imprints like Hotflush, CPU Records, Myor, and his own label, Human Shield Recordings.
