Simon Baker

Simon Baker is a contemporary artist from the United Kingdom whose multidisciplinary practice spans painting, sculpture, and installation. Born in 1982 in Manchester, Baker developed an early fascination with urban environments and the ways in which they shape human perception. He studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martins in London, where he began exploring the interplay between architecture, memory, and abstraction.

Drawing inspiration from the Brutalist movement, everyday objects, and the changing landscape of British cities, Baker’s works often juxtapose geometric forms with expressive surfaces, inviting viewers to reflect on the invisible narratives stitched into public spaces.
