Adham Gaama

Adham Gaama is an emerging contemporary artist whose work explores the intersections of identity, memory, and the subtle complexities of everyday life. Born in 1992 in Cairo, Egypt, Gaama developed a passion for visual storytelling early on, drawing inspiration from the vibrant streets and diverse culture of his hometown. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Helwan University, where he honed his skills in painting, mixed media, and installation art.

Deeply influenced by both traditional Middle Eastern motifs and modernist abstraction, Gaama’s practice dismantles boundaries between personal experience and collective history, often incorporating found materials, layered textures, and symbolic imagery. His expressive visual language speaks to themes of displacement, belonging, and transformation, inviting viewers into immersive contemplations of cultural and emotional landscapes. Since his debut solo exhibition in 2017, Gaama has participated in numerous group and solo shows across Egypt and the broader Middle East, garnering recognition for his innovative approach and poetic sensibility.
