ABOUT SOFIYA is an interdisciplinary artist whose work merges visual art, new media, and poetic narrative to explore themes of memory, transience, and identity. Blending analog and digital techniques, ABOUT SOFIYA creates immersive installations, tactile sculptures, and evocative video works that invite audiences to experience the subtle interplay between the inner self and the external world. Born in Kyiv and now based between Berlin and Toronto, ABOUT SOFIYA draws upon personal history and cross-cultural experiences to inform a practice rooted in storytelling, experimenting with form and process to question established narratives.

Their projects have been exhibited internationally in galleries, museums, and alternative spaces, and ABOUT SOFIYA has participated in residencies throughout Europe and North America. Driven by curiosity and a desire to build emotional resonance, ABOUT SOFIYA continues to challenge conventional boundaries, creating spaces for reflection and dialogue around the evolving nature of identity in the contemporary world.
