THF Radio / Torhaus is a unique cultural and nightclub venue located at the edge of the historic Tempelhof Airport in Berlin, Germany. Situated within the Torhaus (gatehouse) at Tempelhof, this space was originally developed as part of the broader community initiative to repurpose and revitalize the airport’s former administrative buildings. The airport, an iconic architectural and historical site, ceased airline operations in 2008 and has since become one of Berlin’s most distinctive public parks and creative hubs.

THF Radio was founded in 2020 by a collective aiming to create a community-driven online radio station and event space that represents the diversity of Berlin’s music and arts culture. Its headquarters within Torhaus has evolved into a vibrant venue for both intimate club nights and experimental art and music performances, blending Berlin’s post-industrial charm with a progressive, inclusive ethos. The reputation of THF Radio / Torhaus is rooted in its commitment to grassroots activism, local engagement, and a forward-thinking approach to nightlife, art, and radio programming.

It has become an essential meeting point for Berlin’s creative communities, gaining a reputation for its welcoming atmosphere, genre-fluid lineups, and a programming philosophy that champions underrepresented voices. Over time, the Torhaus space itself has seen various phases of transformation, from its original administrative function to collective workshops and now a public venue. Notable artists who have performed at THF Radio / Torhaus include international figures like Sassy J, Tama Sumo, and Lakuti, as well as celebrated local talents such as Call Super, Mo Loschelder, DJ Bastienne, CCL, rRoxymore, Sarah Farina, DJ Stingray, Sky Deep, and members of Berlin’s thriving collective scenes like Room 4 Resistance and Femme Bass Mafia.
