Project House is a vibrant nightclub and multi-use cultural venue based in Leeds, United Kingdom. Opened in 2023, this venue quickly established itself as a cornerstone of the city’s creative and nightlife scenes. Developed as a collaboration between Brudenell Social Club, superfriendz, and several other key figures from the northern UK music circuit, Project House was conceived as a response to increasing pressures on nightlife spaces due to urban redevelopment and rising rents.
Housed in a refurbished old industrial unit near Meanwood, Project House revitalized the area by transforming approximately 1,000 square meters of warehouse floor into a versatile event space. The venue boasts a high-spec sound system, a large capacity dance floor, and adjoining bar-restaurant spaces. Since opening, Project House has garnered a strong reputation both locally and nationally for championing innovative programming, inclusivity, and community-led projects.
The spirit of DIY culture and underground party ethos shapes its calendar, with electronic music, leftfield art installations, and drag performances all regularly featured. Its pioneering line-ups have introduced a new generation to Leeds’ rich nightlife heritage, often spotlighting grassroots community collectives alongside international talent. This ethos is further reflected in Project House’s commitment to being a safe, accessible, and welcoming space for marginalized groups, contributing to its cultural significance far beyond just clubbing.
Since its inception, the venue has remained in its original location; modifications over time have focused on expanding capacity, upgrading facilities, and enhancing accessibility, with each change rooted firmly in serving the needs of its diverse community. Notable artists who have graced Project House include international acts such as Four Tet, DJ Boring, Marcellus Pittman, Eris Drew, Call Super, and Avalon Emerson. Local talents and UK-based collectives like Lyzza, Tom Trago, Finn, Courtesy, Solo Banton, and residents from celebrated Leeds nights such as Love Muscle and On Rotation also feature regularly, making Project House a true hub for both global and homegrown electronic music excellence.
The capacity of Project House is 1000.
