INFO

Peckham Audio is a prominent nightclub and live music venue located in Peckham, South London, United Kingdom. Opened in late 2019, Peckham Audio was developed by the team behind the esteemed live venues, MOTH Club and The Shacklewell Arms, both of which are highly regarded within London’s independent music and nightlife scene. The club swiftly established itself as a hub for electronic music, alternative acts, and forward-thinking live performances, becoming a cornerstone of Peckham’s flourishing nightlife and cultural renaissance.
Housed in a basement on Rye Lane, the venue inherited a unique, intimate character, with a capacity of around 220, placing clubbers and concertgoers in close proximity to performers. Over time, it has become synonymous with excellent sound quality, thanks to its custom-built Funktion-One sound system, and is celebrated for its adventurous programming that combines underground electronic DJs, live bands, and hybrid club nights—showcasing everything from UK house, techno, and jungle to post-punk and indie experimental acts. While Peckham Audio’s physical structure has remained largely unchanged since its inception, its presence has compounded the cultural revitalization of the local area, which has seen a boom in nightlife and creative enterprises throughout the 2010s and 2020s.
The club is praised for its inclusive, community-driven atmosphere, attracting music lovers from across London and providing a vital platform for emerging talent as well as established artists. Its location beneath the multi-storey car park, close to the legendary Frank’s Café and other creative spaces, underlines its role as a node in the district’s robust cultural network, making it a beloved nightspot and a touchstone for nightlife in South London. Notable artists and DJs who have graced its stage or DJ booth include international luminaries such as Ben UFO, Peach, Ciel, and Call Super, alongside key UK and London-based talents like Shanti Celeste, Batu, Parris, OK Williams, Loraine James, Special Request, and Mia Koden.
The venue has also supported rising stars and local collectives including Giulia Tess, Zakia, LCY, and the Touching Bass crew, making it a genuine incubator for exciting new music and underground culture.
