Pastiche is a renowned nightclub located in Berlin, Germany, known for its eclectic programming and commitment to fostering both local and international electronic music talent. Established in the late 1990s amidst the post-reunification cultural renaissance of Berlin, Pastiche quickly gained a reputation as a hub for experimental music, late-night revelry, and progressive art installations. Originally housed in a converted factory basement in the Kreuzberg district, the club captured the gritty, underground spirit that propelled Berlin to global prominence as a nightlife capital.

Throughout the early 2000s, Pastiche became synonymous with inclusivity and diversity, often hosting queer parties, multimedia art events, and marathon DJ sets that challenged traditional clubbing conventions. Its cultural significance is largely rooted in its role as a meeting point for artists and creatives from around the world, and as a safe space for communities marginalized elsewhere. In 2010, following citywide redevelopment and growing international demand, Pastiche relocated to a larger, purpose-built venue in the Neukölln area, featuring cutting-edge sound design, sustainable infrastructure, and expanded dance floors.

The new space preserved the intimate and unpretentious atmosphere of the original but added state-of-the-art light installations and modular spaces for experimental performances. This evolution has allowed Pastiche to remain at the forefront of Berlin’s nightlife scene, constantly adapting to new trends while maintaining its underground aesthetic and values. Notable artists who have performed at Pastiche include international headliners such as Dixon, Helena Hauff, Peggy Gou, and Ben Klock, alongside influential local talents like Tama Sumo, Marcel Dettmann, rRoxymore, and DJ Gigola.

The venue has also hosted rising stars and experimental acts like Slikback, OK Williams, and Berlin’s own Ziúr, regularly spotlighting the most innovative producers and DJs from across the globe.
