Pallas Projects Studios, located at 115–117 The Coombe in The Liberties, Dublin 8, Ireland, is not a nightclub but rather a prominent artist-run contemporary art space and studio complex. Established in 1996 by artists Mark Cullen and Brian Duggan, the venue has played a significant role in Dublin's visual arts scene by providing affordable workspace for artists and a platform for experimental exhibitions. The origins of Pallas Projects can be traced back to a former school in Dublin’s inner city, and over the years, the organization has experienced several relocations due to redevelopment and city planning, before settling at its current address on The Coombe in 2012.
While not a venue for musical performances or typical nightclub activities, the space has become celebrated for its alternative model, fostering collaboration, community engagement, and artist-led initiatives within the city. Pallas Projects Studios is widely respected for its commitment to supporting both emerging and established artists and for championing adventurous, interdisciplinary projects that might not find a home in more traditional galleries or institutions. Among the many artists who have exhibited or worked with Pallas Projects Studios over time are internationally recognized figures such as Jesse Jones (who represented Ireland at the Venice Biennale) and Mandy O’Neill (winner of the Zurich Portrait Prize), as well as influential local artists including Mark Cullen, Brian Duggan, Sean Lynch, Sarah Pierce, and Alan Phelan.
Additionally, the venue has hosted significant projects with artists like Rhona Byrne, Ciaran Murphy, Ann Maria Healy, and Teresa Gillespie, helping to launch or further develop the careers of many within the Irish art scene.
The capacity of Pallas Projects Studios is 150.
