LIV Nightclub Miami, located within the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach, is one of the most celebrated nightlife destinations in the United States and the world. Opened in 2008, LIV quickly established itself as South Florida’s premier club, thanks to its blend of opulence, cutting-edge design, and a high-energy atmosphere. The venue’s name is derived from the Roman numerals for 54, referencing the Fontainebleau’s address at 4441 Collins Avenue.
Designed by renowned architect David Rockwell, the club occupies over 18,000 square feet and features high ceilings, neon lighting, lavish decor, and an expansive dance floor surrounded by VIP tables and private skyboxes. Over the years, LIV has been synonymous with luxury nightlife and celebrity sightings, frequently gracing the pages of major entertainment and lifestyle publications. The club is widely recognized for pioneering the "Miami nightlife experience," setting a standard for high-end service, exclusive bottle presentations, and dynamic entertainment.
Throughout its history, LIV has undergone multiple renovations to maintain its edge in a constantly evolving club scene. One of the most significant restructurings occurred in 2017, when the club underwent a $10 million renovation. This upgrade introduced advanced lighting systems, 3D mapping technology, new sound installations, and an even more lavish interior, cementing the club’s status as an international nightlife beacon.
Despite the changes in design and technology, LIV has consistently retained its place at the epicenter of Miami's social scene and has become a cultural landmark for both locals and visitors, famous for its electric parties, themed events, and role as a hub for music, fashion, and celebrity culture. Over the years, LIV has hosted an impressive array of world-renowned artists and performers, enhancing its reputation as a global nightlife destination and music venue. International superstars such as Calvin Harris, Tiësto, David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix, and Swedish House Mafia have headlined the club’s DJ booth.
Hip-hop icons like Drake, Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B, Migos, and Future have delivered unforgettable performances. On the local scene, Miami’s own DJ Irie and DJ Khaled have been frequent contributors to LIV’s legendary nights, while stars like Rick Ross and Pitbull highlight the club's strong ties to the city’s vibrant music culture.
