Lakota is a renowned nightclub located in Bristol, United Kingdom, celebrated as one of the pivotal venues in the country’s clubbing and electronic music scene. Established in 1992, Lakota quickly became synonymous with the rise of rave culture and underground dance music in the early ‘90s. Situated in a former warehouse on Upper York Street, it played a crucial role in diversifying the nightlife of Bristol, a city already noted for its vibrant music culture.

Lakota’s reputation was forged through its progressive approach to booking artists and genres, hosting the early days of drum and bass, jungle, house, techno, and later embracing a wide variety of electronic music.
