Hi Tops Los Feliz is a vibrant, queer-centric nightclub and bar located in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, United States. Established as the third outpost of the beloved Hi Tops brand (originally founded in San Francisco in 2012), the Los Feliz location opened its doors to the public in 2022, quickly becoming a staple in the LGBTQ+ nightlife scene of Los Angeles. The venue occupies a high-profile space on Hillhurst Avenue, previously home to the legendary sports bar The Sidewalk Grill, and prior to that, the famed Mexican restaurant El Chavo—a spot with its own storied history in LA’s nightlife and cultural tapestry.

Hi Tops Los Feliz merges the comfort and charm of a classic gay sports bar with the energetic, creativity-forward ethos of the Eastside, boasting retro decor, neon lighting, a lively dance floor, and an inviting outdoor patio. Over time, the venue has earned a reputation for inclusivity, creativity, and a celebration of queer culture, drawing praise for its themed nights (such as drag shows, go-go dancing, and karaoke), and serving as a key gathering spot for both locals and visitors. The club’s structure has been thoughtfully renovated, maintaining some nods to its previous incarnations while evolving to meet the tastes and needs of contemporary nightlife.
