This September, Waterworks returns to its unique urban enclave in Gunnersbury Park for its most ambitious edition yet. On 13th September 2025, the festival once again reimagines the connection between music and the city’s green spaces, assembling a line-up that champions innovation, diversity and boldness across the electronic spectrum. This year’s curation is a testament to Waterworks’ commitment to both pillars of the scene and forward-thinking talent.
Essential names like Calibre, DJ Stingray 313, and DVS1 tap into the deep strains of techno and bass, their selections and stagecraft unmatched in their respective realms. Mad Professor and Mala offer contrasting nodes of dubwise experimentation, while Max Cooper and Nicola Cruz weave intricate sonic narratives sure to resonate through the open air. The spectrum widens with crucial selectors including Octo Octa, Eris Drew, and TSUNIMAN.
The UK’s restless groove mutations are front and centre with Bakey, IceMorph, Tia Cousins, and Yung Singh, each anchoring a distinct new wave of percussive, bass-heavy dance music. House, techno, and rave morph in fresh forms with Palms Trax, Peach, LUXE, Roza Terenzi, Special Request and Two Shell, joined by genre-expanding minds like Skee Mask, Dr Banana, Sweely, and Make A Dance. Emerging artists such as RUTHLSS, gyrofield, Spray, Spriitzz and SLOUCHO add vital new syncopations, while festival fixtures John Talabot, Enzo Siragusa, and Onur Özer continue to shape the programme’s depth.
With further contributions from seasoned forces and rising selectors—Ikonika, Karen Nyame KG, Tash LC, Truly Madly, Ellie Stokes, and many more—Waterworks ‘25 stands poised to reflect the scene’s ongoing transformation. In every corner and through each set, expect the audio-visual design Waterworks is renowned for, framing Gunnersbury’s lush expanses with bespoke production and instinctive community. As one of the capital’s few remaining gatherings built entirely on forward momentum, Waterworks ‘25 promises an experience unfurling across genre, generation, and geography, where the energy of underground electronic music crosses into new ground.
