INFO

On May 25th, 2018, Life Festival returns to the lush surroundings of Belvedere House & Gardens in Ireland, once again staking its claim as the unmissable highlight of Ireland’s electronic calendar. This year, the festival expands its vision, assembling a genre-defining lineup that reflects techno’s global resurgence and the continuing evolution of the club sound. From mainstage legends to underground torchbearers, every corner of the park will pulse with rhythm.

Fatboy Slim brings his inimitable energy to headline proceedings, reminding crowds why his blend of infectious hooks and warehouse grit still resonates across generations. Armand Van Helden adds a dose of transatlantic house nostalgia, supplying the grooves that shaped dancefloors from the ‘90s to now. On the techno front, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, and Jeff Mills guarantee a relentless, driving atmosphere; each known for marathon sets that blur the boundaries between sound, space, and physical endurance.

Fans can expect raw, metallic textures from Alan Fitzpatrick and uncompromising modular workouts from Amelie Lens, while Blawan injects the darker edges of UK techno into the festival’s DNA. The Irish scene is strongly represented with Brame & Hamo, Cailín, Hybrasil, and rising star KETTAMA delivering local sound and sensibility. Simultaneously, new-school tastemakers like Fatima Yamaha, Mall Grab, and Yaeji bring genre-fluid energy, blurring lines between house, disco, and electronica.

House heads can find rest in the selections of Sonny Fodera, Hannah Wants, and Honey Dijon, whose crate-digging ranges from soulful anthemics to sweat-soaked classics. The bill rounds out with club innovators Motor City Drum Ensemble, Midland, and the grime-rooted sounds of Wiley and Mango X MathMan. As ever, Life Festival commits to shining a light on homegrown talent: from the vibrant sounds of Boots & Kats, Refuge, Justyna Koss, and Sim Simma, to up-and-comers Emma Jai, Josh Coakley, Kaily, Moduse, PrYmary Colours, Quinton Campbell, Sarah Mooney, and Tommy Holohan, the breadth of Ireland’s current scene is fully represented.

Whether you come for peak-hour techno, sunrise selections, or the camaraderie of the crowd, Life 2018 promises a weekend of relentless sound, open-air euphoria, and the undiluted spirit of electronic music.
