Taboo is the stage name of Jaime Luis Gomez, an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor, best known as a member of the Grammy Award-winning group The Black Eyed Peas. Born on July 14, 1975, in Los Angeles, California, Taboo is of Mexican and Native American (Shoshone) descent, which has influenced both his artistry and his commitment to advocacy for indigenous rights.
