Suzanne Ciani

Suzanne Ciani is an acclaimed American composer, electronic music pioneer, and sound designer, widely recognized for her groundbreaking work with synthesizers and her influential contributions to the world of electronic and new age music. Born in 1946 in Indiana, Ciani studied music at Wellesley College and earned her master's degree in composition from the University of California, Berkeley. Her fascination with electronic sound led her to the Buchla synthesizer, an instrument with which she would become closely associated throughout her career.
