soo:k is a contemporary multidisciplinary artist whose work interrogates the boundaries between identity, culture, and sensory experience. Born in Seoul and currently based in Berlin, soo:k draws inspiration from the fluidity of urban environments and the nuances of diaspora. Their practice spans painting, installation, video, and sound, often layering found materials, archival imagery, and site-specific interventions to evoke the ephemerality of memory and language.

Trained in fine arts at Hongik University before completing an MFA at Universität der Künste Berlin, soo:k has exhibited internationally in venues such as the Museum of Contemporary Art Busan, KW Institute for Contemporary Art, and de Appel in Amsterdam. Their immersive installations invite viewers to navigate liminal spaces where personal and collective histories intersect, encouraging a deeper reflection on transformation, belonging, and the unseen structures that shape everyday life.
