Sobolik is an American artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans painting, sculpture, and installation, exploring themes of memory, identity, and the relationship between the organic and the manufactured. Born and raised in the Midwest, Sobolik’s early exposure to both rural landscapes and urban environments informs much of their visual language, imbuing their work with a sense of liminality and transition. After earning a BFA from a prominent art institution, Sobolik has exhibited nationally in galleries and alternative spaces, garnering attention for their innovative use of materials and evocative narrative approach.
Through an interplay of color, texture, and form, Sobolik seeks to challenge conventional boundaries while inviting viewers to reflect on the interconnectedness of personal and collective histories. Their evolving body of work positions them as a compelling voice within contemporary American art, continually investigating how place, memory, and transformation inform the ways we understand ourselves and our surroundings.
