SHIMMER

SHIMMER is a multidisciplinary artist collective known for their ethereal blend of digital media, sculptural installation, and immersive soundscapes. Formed in 2017 and based between Berlin and Brooklyn, the group consists of visual artists, sound designers, and movement specialists who collaborate to explore the boundaries between perception, light, and materiality. Their work often investigates the interplay of transience and presence, employing shimmering surfaces, projected luminescence, and organic textures to evoke dreamy, otherworldly environments.

SHIMMER’s installations and performances have been exhibited internationally at venues including the Centre Pompidou in Paris, Shedhalle in Zurich, and the New Museum in New York, earning acclaim for their ability to dissolve the boundaries between art and audience.
