Rec.'n cue is an experimental music duo formed in 2018 by producer Jane Kwong and multi-instrumentalist Tomás Álvarez. Based in Berlin, their work explores the boundaries between ambient soundscapes, post-club rhythms, and manipulated field recordings. With backgrounds in classical composition and electronic production, both members blend analog hardware with software processing, creating immersive tracks that transform everyday urban noises into layered sonic environments.

Since their debut, Rec.'n cue has performed at numerous European festivals, including Unsound Kraków and CTM Berlin, earning a reputation for their improvisational live sets and collaborations with visual artists. Their discography includes the critically acclaimed EP "Fragments & Flows" (2020) and the full-length project "Nil Space" (2023), both released on the independent label Maschine Studies. Championing a process-based approach, Rec.'n cue continues to redefine electronic music through continual exploration, collective workshops, and cross-disciplinary installations.
