Nooney

Nooney is a contemporary multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersection of memory, cultural lineage, and urban landscapes. Born in 1991 and raised between Lagos, Nigeria and London, Nooney merges influences from both environments to create vibrant, expressive pieces that span painting, mixed media, and installation. Known for their dynamic use of color, texture, and symbolic imagery, Nooney’s art often delves into themes of identity, migration, and the fluidity of personal histories.

Since earning a BA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins in 2015, Nooney has exhibited in group and solo shows across Europe and Africa, gaining recognition for a distinctive visual language that connects the personal with the universal. Whether working on canvas or large-scale public murals, Nooney invites audiences to reflect on the layered stories embedded in everyday objects and shared spaces, making their work a resonant commentary on contemporary life.
