Naama

Naama is an innovative multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans painting, drawing, sculpture, and installation. Born in Israel and currently based in New York, Naama’s work explores the relationship between materiality, perception, and spatial experience. Her art is characterized by a poetic sensitivity to surfaces and an intuitive approach to form, often blurring boundaries between the organic and the constructed.

Naama received her MFA from the Yale School of Art, and has exhibited internationally in venues such as the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, White Columns in New York, and the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. With a keen interest in texture and the sensorial qualities of everyday materials, her installations invite viewers to engage deeply with subtle shifts in light, color, and tactility. Naama’s work has been recognized with several awards and fellowships, including residencies at the MacDowell Colony and the Watermill Center, and her practice continues to evolve as she investigates new processes and environments.
