Margo is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersections of memory, identity, and everyday experience through a diverse array of mediums including painting, sculpture, and installation. Born in Toronto, Canada, Margo studied fine arts at OCAD University where she first began to experiment with conceptual approaches to traditional techniques. Her practice is marked by a keen attention to materiality and a nuanced use of color, often weaving in ephemeral or found objects to evoke nostalgia and the passage of time.
Since her first solo exhibition in 2015, Margo has participated in numerous group and solo shows across North America and Europe, earning recognition for her evocative aesthetic and deeply personal narratives. Drawing inspiration from urban landscapes, family histories, and the subtle poetry of the mundane, Margo’s work invites viewers to reconsider the boundaries between art and daily life. She currently lives and works between Toronto and Berlin, continually pushing the limits of her craft while engaging with local and international artistic communities.
