Muzka is an innovative multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges visual arts, sound, and immersive installations. Born in 1992 in Sarajevo and currently based in Berlin, Muzka draws upon a diverse cultural background, blending post-war Balkan influences with the experimental energy of Europe’s contemporary art scenes. After studying fine arts at the University of Sarajevo and later expanding her practice at the Berlin University of the Arts, Muzka developed a signature style that oscillates between abstraction and narrative, using digital media, found footage, and organic materials.
Her installations and ephemeral audio-visual performances probe themes of memory, identity, and urban transformation, often inviting the audience to become part of the experience. Muzka’s work has been exhibited in leading galleries and art festivals across Europe, including Manifesta, Kunsthaus Bethanien, and Riga’s Survival Kit Festival. She has also collaborated with choreographers and electronic musicians to create cross-disciplinary works that defy traditional boundaries.
Unafraid to address socio-political issues through subtle symbolism and technological experimentation, Muzka continues to shape conversations in contemporary art by challenging perceptions and foregrounding marginalized narratives.
