Moomin is a German DJ and producer renowned for his warm, organic take on deep house. Emerging from Hamburg’s vibrant electronic scene, Moomin began making waves in the early 2010s with releases on Smallville and his own label, Closer. Drawing inspiration from jazz, soul, and dusty hip hop beats, his productions stand out for their emotive melodies, intricate sample work, and subtly shifting grooves.

After an early fascination with hip hop and beatmaking, Moomin transitioned to house music, fusing his sample-based approach with classic deep house influences.
