Markus Glanz

Markus Glanz is a contemporary German artist whose multifaceted works span painting, sculpture, and installation. Born in Berlin in 1982, Glanz developed an early fascination with urban landscapes and the tensions between organic and constructed environments, themes that continue to animate his art today. He studied at the Universität der Künste Berlin, graduating in 2007, and soon gained recognition for his evocative use of color and texture to explore memory, perception, and the passage of time.

Glanz’s practice is deeply rooted in experimentation, blending traditional techniques with found materials and digital processes. Over the past decade, he has exhibited widely across Europe, with solo shows in Berlin, Vienna, and Paris, and his works have become part of prominent public and private collections.
