Marie Wilson

Marie Wilson is a contemporary visual artist from Germany known for her evocative mixed-media installations and bold use of color. Born in Berlin in 1987, she studied Fine Arts at the Universität der Künste Berlin, where she developed a distinct style blending elements of abstract expressionism with conceptual art. Her work frequently explores themes of memory, identity, and the intersection of technology and personal history, often incorporating found materials and digital media.

Wilson's exhibitions have been featured in prominent galleries across Europe, including the Hamburger Bahnhof and Kunsthalle Bremen, earning her a reputation as one of the most innovative voices on the German art scene. She has received several prestigious awards, such as the Berlin Art Prize and a residency at the Villa Romana in Florence. Wilson continues to live and work in Berlin, where she also teaches contemporary art practices at her alma mater.
