Lust For Youth

Lust For Youth is a Swedish synth-pop and coldwave project formed by Hannes Norrvide in Gothenburg, Sweden. Initially conceived as a solo experiment immersed in industrial noise and minimal synth textures, Lust For Youth gradually evolved into a full-fledged band with the inclusion of collaborators such as Malthe Fischer and, previously, Loke Rahbek. Influenced by the stark atmospheres of early electronic and post-punk music, their sound merges haunting melancholy with lush, danceable melodies, earning them comparisons to acts like New Order and Depeche Mode.

Throughout their discography, including notable releases on iconic label Sacred Bones Records, Lust For Youth have continually reinvented their approach, spanning from bleak, lo-fi beginnings to a shimmering, youthful romanticism heard on later albums like "International" and "Compassion."
