Croatian Amor is the moniker of Danish electronic artist Loke Rahbek, a prominent figure in Copenhagen's adventurous music scene. Known for his emotionally charged and genre-defying soundscapes, Rahbek draws from ambient, pop, experimental electronic, and industrial influences to craft immersive works that blur the lines between intimacy and abstraction. Since the project's inception in 2013, Croatian Amor has released a series of acclaimed albums and EPs, including "Love Means Taking Action" and "Isa," often weaving fragmented vocals, shimmering synths, and heavy textures into his distinctive sonic palette.
Rahbek is also the co-founder of the influential Posh Isolation label, which has become an incubator for innovative Scandinavian electronic music. Through both solo work and collaborative projects—with artists such as Varg2™, Yves Tumor, and Soho Rezanejad—Croatian Amor continues to explore the vulnerabilities and surrealities of modern life, earning a devoted following for his poignant explorations of love, identity, and technology.
