Born in 1993 in Lagos, Nigeria, Ladagoje’s work draws on the vibrant colors and bustling life of their hometown, blending traditional motifs with modern techniques. After earning a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Lagos, Ladagoje began exhibiting in local galleries, quickly gaining attention for a unique style that merges painting, collage, and mixed media installation.

Their art has been featured in group and solo shows across Africa and Europe, where themes of migration, ancestral heritage, and city life consistently emerge. Ladagoje’s practice is marked by a dynamic interplay between the personal and the collective, often incorporating reclaimed materials and found objects to highlight the resilience and beauty of overlooked communities.
