Kodewerk

Kodewerk is an innovative multimedia artist collective founded in Berlin in 2018, comprising visual artist Lena Novak, sound designer Marcus Feld, and digital coder Javier Torres. Drawing inspiration from urban landscapes and the intersection of technology and human experience, Kodewerk's collaborative practice explores the translation of data, code, and sensory input into immersive installations and live audiovisual performances. Their work is characterized by a seamless integration of generative visuals, algorithmic soundscapes, and interactive environments that invite audiences to become active participants in multilayered digital ecosystems.

Kodewerk has exhibited and performed internationally, with highlights including Ars Electronica, Mutek Montreal, and the CTM Festival, and their projects are frequently recognized for pushing the boundaries of experiential art and new media aesthetics. Constantly experimenting with new technologies and methodologies, Kodewerk continues to investigate the evolving relationship between body, machine, and environment, creating thought-provoking works that challenge conventional narratives and reimagine the possibilities of contemporary artistic expression.
