AJ Christou

Born and raised in Manchester, AJ Christou began his journey into the world of DJing and music production as a teenager immersed in the city’s vibrant underground scene. Inspired by house, techno, and UK club culture, he quickly established a reputation for his distinctive sets and infectious energy behind the decks. By his early twenties, AJ was already performing at acclaimed venues and parties across Europe and North America, sharing stages with icons in the electronic music sphere.

AJ’s productions have found their way onto labels such as Rawthentic, Cuttin’ Headz, and Solid Grooves, often characterized by rolling drums, deep basslines, and a groove-heavy approach that bridges classic house with modern minimal. In 2016, he founded Celesta Recordings, a label that has gained recognition for its forward-thinking releases and diverse roster, and has continued to curate parties and events under the brand’s banner. With support from heavyweights like The Martinez Brothers, Loco Dice, and Jamie Jones, AJ Christou’s tracks and mixes have become staples in clubs from Ibiza to Miami.
