Kitty Marroni is a contemporary visual artist whose multi-disciplinary practice spans painting, mixed media, and installation art. Drawing inspiration from nature, memory, and the language of abstraction, Marroni’s work delves into the emotional resonance of color and texture. Raised in the Pacific Northwest, she developed an early fascination with landscapes and organic forms, which continue to surface in her lush, layered compositions.
Kitty holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and has exhibited widely in galleries across the United States, earning recognition for her evocative use of materials and her dynamic, expressive mark-making. Beyond her studio practice, she is passionate about arts education, often leading community workshops and mentoring emerging artists. Marroni’s work invites viewers into a world of sensory exploration, blurring boundaries between the seen and the felt.
She currently lives and works in Portland, Oregon, and is represented by Blue Fern Gallery.
