Kieran Black is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the boundaries between memory, space, and identity. Born in 1989 in Manchester, UK, Black first developed an interest in the arts through street photography before expanding into mixed media installations and digital art. Drawing inspiration from urban landscapes and personal histories, Black’s practice is rooted in the juxtaposition of the ephemeral and the permanent, weaving together found objects, archival imagery, and experimental soundscapes.
Black’s work has been exhibited widely, including at the Tate Liverpool, Saatchi Gallery, and international venues in Berlin and New York. Often collaborating with writers and musicians, Black seeks to create immersive experiences that invite viewers to question the narratives that shape their everyday realities. With a background in sociology and visual arts from Goldsmiths, University of London, Black continues to break new ground with projects that challenge perceptions and ignite dialogues about the traces we leave behind.
