JoyBoy is a genre-bending DJ, producer, and sonic storyteller whose infectious energy has been lighting up dance floors worldwide. Known for seamlessly blending house, future bass, and global rhythms, JoyBoy crafts sets that are both surprising and irresistibly danceable. Born in Lisbon to a family steeped in music and street culture, he first experimented with turntables in his teens, quickly gaining recognition at local events for his eclectic taste and technical skills.

After relocating to Berlin in his early 20s, JoyBoy dove deep into the European electronic scene, absorbing influences ranging from Afrobeat to UK garage. His bold remixes of classic tracks began garnering attention online, leading to collaborations with underground producers and guest mixes on forward-thinking radio shows. JoyBoy’s breakout year came with the release of his debut EP “Kaleidoscope Groove” in 2022, sparking invitations to play at international festivals including Sónar, Fusion, and Dimensions.
