In the mid-1990s, Thomas gained recognition for his distinctive sound that melded Detroit techno influences with a uniquely French touch. His early collaborations with DJ Dee Nasty and projects under the name Electro Magnetic Alignment garnered attention, but it was his 1998 solo debut on the respected label Logistic Records that solidified his place in techno’s vanguard.
