Jez Nelson is a British DJ, broadcaster, and music entrepreneur renowned for his influential work in jazz, electronic, and underground club music. Active since the 1980s, Nelson first rose to prominence as a founder of the legendary London jazz-dance club Dingwalls. He became a significant voice on BBC Radio, presenting the influential programs "Jazz on 3" and "Somethin’ Else" on BBC Radio 3 for over a decade.
