Isaiah Martin

Isaiah Martin is an emerging multi-disciplinary artist based in the United States whose work explores the intersections of identity, environment, and the experience of contemporary American life. Born and raised in the Midwest, Martin draws inspiration from the landscapes and cultural narratives that shaped his upbringing. His practice, which spans painting, sculpture, and mixed media installation, is characterized by bold colors, layered textures, and an intuitive approach to form.

Through his art, Martin seeks to raise questions about belonging, community, and the coexistence of nature and urban space, often incorporating found materials and personal artifacts to create pieces that are both intimate and expansive. Since earning his BFA in 2017, Martin has exhibited in group and solo shows across the country and is recognized for his approachable yet thought-provoking pieces that invite viewers to reflect on their own sense of place in an ever-changing world.
