ILKA Profile Image

ILKA

ILKA is a multidisciplinary artist collective founded in 2017, whose work explores the intersections of identity, memory, and spatial narrative through immersive installations, soundscapes, and sculpture. Drawing on backgrounds in architecture, visual arts, and experimental music, ILKA's members—Ines Linder, Laura Klein, and Kasra Azad—collaborate to create sensorial environments that invite reflection on the complexities of urban life and the subconscious. Their projects have been exhibited internationally, including at the Museum für Moderne Kunst in Frankfurt, the Venice Architecture Biennale, and the Seoul Mediacity Biennale.

Often working with reclaimed materials and innovative technologies, ILKA engages audiences in participatory experiences that blur the boundaries between public and private, past and present. Committed to community engagement and ecological awareness, their practice fosters dialogues about collective responsibility and the emotional resonance of place.
