Ian Apex

Ian Apex is a multidisciplinary artist whose dynamic work fuses experimental visual media with themes drawn from urban landscapes and contemporary culture. Born in 1992 in Toronto, Canada, Ian developed an early passion for street art and graphic design, which later evolved into a broader exploration of digital collage, installation, and found-object sculpture. Apex’s practice is characterized by bold juxtapositions of color, texture, and unexpected imagery, challenging viewers to re-examine the boundaries between digital and physical space.

With a background in architecture and new media studies from OCAD University, Ian’s artistic voice reflects a deep curiosity about built environments, memory, and the impact of technology on perception. Since emerging onto the scene in the late 2010s, Ian Apex has exhibited in group and solo shows across North America and Europe, earning recognition for his innovative techniques and socially resonant subjects.
