Greta Spark is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersections of memory, identity, and the environment. Born in 1989 in Portland, Oregon, Spark cultivated an early interest in visual storytelling and narrative form, pursuing a BFA in Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her practice traverses painting, sculpture, and installation, often incorporating found materials and experimental techniques to evoke the layered nature of personal and collective histories.
Spark’s evocative pieces have been exhibited in galleries across the United States and Europe, and her work was recently acquired by the Portland Art Museum. Deeply influenced by the landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, Spark’s art invites viewers to reconsider their relationships with place and time, blending the intimate with the universal through a nuanced palette and tactile presence. She currently lives and works in Seattle, where she continues to develop projects that challenge conventional boundaries and foster dialogue about sustainability and memory.
